Not good. The receptionist are the worst. The last two times I've called in they have been extremely rude and have given me the wrong information.

Got sent away by manager for being 5 min. late, and after always being there on time and not missing an appointment. I was in terrible pain, distress and anxiety and they didn't even ask about that or let me see a different doctor. I was so upset, in tears and then had to drive back home to Red Deer, extremely upset and re-book. If Doctor McConnell hadn't called back a little while later, I'd never go back there. I could have been having a heart attack, no one checked or took my blood pressure.

The first time I took time off work to come in with a booked appointment, I was asked 3 times to rebook because they were busy but I told them getting time off work wasn't easy for me and it'd be a month before I could come in again. I needed to talk to my family doctor about my results that I had gotten from a walk in clinic in red deer and was hoping to get a wart removed from my foot. Very snoody the elderly receptionist said he would look at it because they were so busy. She made me feel bad for bring there. Of course when I got to talk to my family doctor he spent all the time he needed with me including treating my foot.

Have never had a bad experience here. They great front end staff and wonderful caring doctors. What patients don't realize is that everyone is human and only put up with so much.

The second time I called in to make sure I understood the Saturday walk in times again super snoody rudely telling me sat was only walk in times and that she had no idea which Dr was going to be in. As I walk in Saturday morning right at 10 ( I was wa iting outside since 945 for them to open) I was asked if I had an appt. What??? I thought only walk in. But nope I guess you can start calling in at 9 for appointments ... wtf??? I was asked to come back when I could get an appointment. Needless to say I'm finding a new Dr. Which is sad I really like Dr. Neimand but since they moved to the new location there front end staff have gone way down hill.

We all need to slow down and practice a little patience and understanding.

I try to go by the rule of treating others as I'd like to be treated. The front end staff at most medical practices are very stressed out and over worked. The reception and nurses here are not any different. We need to try to have some compassion for them as well. They know you or yours are in pain or sick and they will try to get to you as soon as they take care of the last 40 or so people before you who are hurting or sick as well.

Everytime I go there it's a horrible experience, always leave in tears, absolutely horrible front desk people, Monica is just nasty, they will not do their job or help you at all. Constantly do not send off referrals, always have to check up, ornery and rude, will not give me my files I had to call multiple times finally if I'm rude they will comply. Dr also wouldn't hear me when I said my problem kept wrongfully diagnosing. Also when I had strep throat receptionist refused to make appointment, she said nope we are to busy, and I said I can come anytime she repeated nope it will be 2 weeks which I said is fine, she just repeated no. You would get more help from a fence post.
